Alice Hirson was an American actress who played Mavis Anderson in the CBS prime time soap opera Dallas. She started her career in theater before transitioning to television, where she appeared in daytime soap operas. Hirson portrayed Lois Morgan, the mother of the title character in the ABC sitcom Ellen. Her film credits include The Big Picture (1989).
