Alice Cooper is an American musician and actor who appeared in the film Dark Shadows (2012). Originally part of a band that bore his name, he gained fame in the early 1970s with hits like "I'm Eighteen" and "School's Out." As a solo artist, he achieved significant success with the 1975 album Welcome to My Nightmare and the 1989 single "Poison." Cooper's theatrical stage presence, often featuring horror elements, has made a lasting impact on the heavy metal genre. In addition to his music career, he has also worked as a film actor and a radio DJ. The original Alice Cooper Group was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011.
