Alexis Michalik is a Franco-British actor, scriptwriter, and director who adapted Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet into the play R&J in 2008. He has acted in films such as Sagan (2008) and Le Chant du loup (2019), as well as television series like Kaboul Kitchen. Michalik has created and staged several of his own plays, including Le Porteur d'histoire and Edmond, earning multiple Molière awards. His filmography also includes Dangerous Liaisons (2022). Michalik's early work in theater began with a role as Roméo in 2001.
