Alexis Georgoulis is a Greek actor who made his international film debut in My Life in Ruins (2009), portraying the love interest of Nia Vardalos. He gained significant popularity in Greece through his role in the 2001 television series You Are My Mate (Eisai To Tairi Mou). Georgoulis has appeared in various films, including My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 (2023). In addition to his acting career, he is also a politician, having been elected to the European Parliament as a member of the Syriza Party in 2019.
