Alexander Petrov is a Russian actor who made his film debut in the 2010 television series Voices. He gained prominence for his performances in notable projects such as T-34 (2018), Gogol. Viy (2018), and the horror-fantasy film Gogol. The Beginning (2017), where he portrayed the writer Nikolai Gogol. After studying at the University of Pereslavl, he transitioned to acting, eventually joining the Yermolova Theatre, where he played Hamlet. Petrov was recognized as the most popular Russian actor of 2017 by Kinopoisk. His role in the disaster film Attraction (2017) further solidified his status in the industry.
