Alex Reid is a British actress who portrayed the probation officer Sally in E4's Misfits. She trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art and has appeared in various television series, including playing Captain Caroline Walshe in ITV's SAS drama Ultimate Force. Reid starred as Mercer in the 2001 film Arachnid and was featured in the 2005 horror film The Descent as Beth O'Brien. She reprised her role in The Descent: Part 2, released in 2009, making a cameo appearance.
