Alex Karras is a former football player and actor who starred as George Papadopolis in the ABC sitcom Webster from 1985 to 1989. He played for the Detroit Lions in the NFL during the late 1950s and through the 1960s. Karras also appeared in the film Against All Odds (1984). He had a brief stint as a professional wrestler.
