Alex Karpovsky is an American director, actor, screenwriter, producer, and editor who completed his first feature film, The Hole Story, in 2006. He gained recognition for his role as the male lead in Beeswax, which premiered at the 2009 Berlin International Film Festival. Karpovsky has appeared in various films such as Tiny Furniture (2010), which won the Narrative Jury Prize at South by Southwest, and The Grownups (2010), screened at Cannes. His voice work includes roles in the video game Grand Theft Auto IV. Karpovsky acted in The Front Runner (2018) and Cryptozoo (2021). He also starred as Ray in the HBO series Girls.
