Aleks Paunovic is a Canadian actor who portrayed Jim McAllister in the drama series Arctic Air. He has appeared in various television roles, including Julius in Van Helsing, Wygar Oak in Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, and Bojan "Boki" Boscovic in Snowpiercer. Paunovic has a background in boxing, having been a champion until an injury ended his career. He also had a stint in a rock band before transitioning to acting, landing his first role at his initial audition. His family has a rich history of boxing, with several members being champions in Yugoslavia. Paunovic acted in War for the Planet of the Apes (2017).
