Alaa Safi is a French actor, director, and producer who gained prominence after his collaboration with Jackie Chan in Chinese Zodiac (2012). He has appeared in several notable films, including Marvel's Doctor Strange (2016), The Mauritanian (2021), and Death on the Nile (2022). In addition to his film work, Safi is a series regular on the TV series The Chosen (2017). He ventured into directing with the award-winning short film Chrysalis (2020) and followed it up with Coming Home (2023). Alaa Safi has also worked on the film Agent Zero (2025).
