Aku Hirviniemi is a Finnish actor who gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Urho Hietanen in the 2017 war film The Unknown Soldier. He became widely known in Finland with the launch of the sketch comedy show Putous in 2010. Hirviniemi starred in the police drama series Roba from 2012 to 2016. He also appeared in the film The Wait in 2022.
