Akshay Kumar is an Indian film actor, producer, and martial artist who starred in the 'Khiladi series', beginning with Khiladi in 1992. He has appeared in over a hundred Hindi films, including notable works such as Hera Pheri (2000), Airlift (2016), and Toilet: A Love Story (2017). His performances in romantic films include Yeh Dillagi (1994) and Dhadkan (2000). Kumar received the Padma Shri award in 2009 and an Honorary Doctorate of Law from the University of Windsor in 2008.
