Akira Nagoya is a Japanese actor and voice actor who played Yūtarō Asahina in the Tokusatsu series Ultraman Taro. He began his career after joining the Tokyo Broadcasting Company (NHK) training school in 1949. In 1959, he became a member of the Bungakuza theatre company and later helped establish the Kumo theatre company in 1963. Following the disbandment of Kumo in 1975, he worked as a freelance theatre artist, performing in various venues like Jijinkai and Komatsuza. Nagoya also lent his voice to characters in films, including his role in Princess Mononoke in 1997.
