Aki Toyosaki is a Japanese actress and singer who received the "Best New Actress" award at the 4th Seiyu Awards in 2010 for her portrayal of Yui Hirasawa in K-On!. She began her voice acting career in 2007 with roles in Kenkō Zenrakei Suieibu Umishō and Shugo Chara!. In addition to her acting, Toyosaki is also a musician; she performed the opening and ending themes for K-On! and debuted as part of the musical group Sphere in April 2009. Her solo career includes the release of her first single "love your life" in 2009, along with two albums and eleven singles that achieved top 20 positions on Oricon's charts. She contributed her voice to anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day - The Movie (2013).
