Ajith Kumar is an Indian film actor who gained significant recognition in Tamil cinema with his role in Aasai (1995). He began his career in a supporting role in a Telugu film and quickly transitioned to lead roles, becoming a prominent romantic hero in films like Kadhal Kottai (1996) and Kadhal Mannan (1998). Ajith later established himself as an action star with successful films such as Billa (2007), Mankatha (2011), and Yennai Arindhaal (2015). In addition to acting, he participated in the 2004 British Formula 3 season as a racing driver. Ajith Kumar has received three Filmfare Best Actor Awards and was honored with the Padma Bhushan award in 2025.
