Aileen Wu is a Chinese-American actor who made her off-Broadway acting debut in 2019 as Cordelia in the adaptation LEAR: THAT OLD MAN I USED TO KNOW. She directed her first play, THE POEM OF FORGETFULNESS, in 2020 through NYU’s Chinese Students & Scholars Association, employing a devised and experimental theatre style. Wu has produced several notable works, including the theatre documentary HAMLET: REHEARSED and the award-winning ultra-short film CLOSING DOORS. In addition to her theatrical endeavors, she appears in the film Alien: Romulus (2024).
