Adil Hussain is an Indian actor who first gained recognition for his performance in Othello: A Play in Black and White (1999), which received the Edinburgh Fringe First. He has appeared in a diverse range of films across multiple languages, including English Vinglish (2012), Life of Pi (2012), and Kabir Singh (2019). He received a National Film Award (Special Jury) in 2017 for his roles in Hotel Salvation and Maj Rati Keteki. His filmography includes notable titles such as 2.0 (2018) and Delhi Crime (2019). Adil Hussain served as the artistic director of the Society for Artists and Performers in Hampi from 2004 to 2007.
