Adan Canto is a Mexican actor who portrayed Sunspot in the superhero film X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014). He gained prominence on television as Paul Torres in the Fox series The Following and starred as AJ Menendez in the ABC drama Blood & Oil (2015). Canto played the role of Rodrigo Lara Bonilla in the Netflix series Narcos and performed as Aaron Shore in the political drama Designated Survivor alongside Kiefer Sutherland. In addition to acting, he wrote and directed the short film Before Tomorrow in 2014. Canto appeared in 2 Hearts (2020) and Agent Game (2022).
