Adam Baldwin is an actor who gained fame portraying the character Ricky Linderman in My Bodyguard (1980). He has appeared in numerous films since then, including notable roles in Full Metal Jacket (1987), Independence Day (1996), and Serenity (2005), where he reprises his role as Jayne Cobb from the series Firefly. Baldwin's extensive television work includes appearances in The X-Files and the ABC series Day Break. He received a SyFy Genre Award in 2006 for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Firefly. Additionally, he has lent his voice to characters in video games such as Halo 3 and Mass Effect 2. Baldwin was cast as Clark Kent/Superman in Superman: Doomsday, based on the DC Comics storyline.
