Abubakr Ali is an Egyptian-born American actor who portrayed Officer Samir Bashir in the television series Law & Order: Organized Crime. He was raised in Pasadena, California, after moving to the United States in 2000. Ali played the lead role in the 2022 film Anything's Possible and has a background in Muslim faith. His father passed away in 2017.
