Aasif Mandvi is a British-American actor and comedian who made his television debut in the series Miami Vice. He gained prominence as a correspondent on The Daily Show, where he began in 2006 and was promoted to a regular correspondent in 2007. Mandvi has appeared in various films, including Spider-Man 2 (2004), The Last Airbender (2010), and The Dictator (2012). His television credits include roles in CBS's Evil and HBO's The Brink, where he also served as a writer and co-producer. He played Mr. Aziz in Spider-Man 2 and appeared in Margin Call (2011) and Ghost Town (2008). In 2022, he hosted the game show Would I Lie to You?.
