Aaron Stanford is an American actor who portrayed Pyro in the X-Men films, including X2 (2003) and X-Men: The Last Stand (2006). He also played Doug in the horror remake The Hills Have Eyes (2006). On television, Stanford starred as Birkhoff in Nikita (2010–2013) and as James Cole in the series 12 Monkeys (2015–2018), which is based on the 1995 film. His work in the X-Men franchise has made him a notable figure in superhero cinema.
