Zahira Ben Ammar

Zahira Ben Ammar is a Tunisian writer, director, and actress. She began her career with the Triangle Theater Troupe and later established her own theater company in 2000, creating and directing numerous plays. Ben Ammar has participated in various theater training courses and has led several workshops under the Ministry of Culture and Heritage Preservation in Tunisia. Her work in theater earned her the Best Actress Award at the first Carthage Theater Days Festival and the Prize for Literature and Arts from the President of Tunisia. She appeared in Halfaouine: Boy of the Terraces (1990).
