Yasmin Ponnappa

Yasmin Ponnappa is an Indian actress who made her film debut in Aaranya Kaandam (2011), a gangster drama directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja. She began her career as a model in Bangalore and later moved to Mumbai, where she worked with Elite Model Management and appeared in commercials for brands like Nivea and Tropicana. Yasmin gained recognition for her modeling work, including a notable collaboration on Opulex diamond bracelets. She was also shortlisted for the role of Latika in Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire (2008) but was ultimately replaced. Yasmin appears in the film Idi Minnal Kadhal (2024).
