Winston Rekert was a Canadian actor who starred as Michael Terry in the television series Neon Rider (1990-1995). He gained recognition for his role in the film Agnes of God (1985) as Detective Langevin, which led to his nomination for a Genie Award for Best Actor for his performance in Walls the same year. Rekert also led the comedy-drama series Adderly from 1986 to 1988, earning a Gemini Award for Best Performance by a Lead Actor in a Continuing Dramatic Role. He was involved in various capacities on Neon Rider, including writing and producing, and served as a national spokesman for Youth at Risk. In 2003, he received another Gemini Award for his guest role in Blue Murder.
