Walter Dohrn is an American writer, director, animator, musician, and actor who performed the voice of Rumpelstiltskin in Shrek Forever After (2010). He co-directed Trolls (2016) and its sequels, and voiced several characters in the franchise. Dohrn also worked on Shrek the Third (2007) and directed Shrek 5, scheduled for release in 2026. His work extends to the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants, where he served as a writer, director, and storyboard director. In 2020, he entered into a deal with DreamWorks Animation.
