Verna Bloom was an American actress who co-starred in the film High Plains Drifter (1973) alongside Clint Eastwood. She appeared in over 30 films and television episodes since the 1960s, including notable roles in Animal House (1978) as Marion Wormer and The Last Temptation of Christ (1988) as Mary, the mother of Jesus. Bloom also featured in the 1974 television movie Where Have All The People Gone? with Peter Graves and Kathleen Quinlan.
