Tsao Yu-ning is a Taiwanese actor who portrayed Akira in the sports film Kano (2014). Before transitioning to acting, he was a professional baseball player, representing Chinese Taipei in various international tournaments, including the 2014 U-23 Baseball World Cup and the Asian Baseball Championship. Tsao received the Best Supporting Actor award at the 2014 Taipei Film Festival for his role in Kano and was nominated for Best New Performer at the 51st Golden Horse Awards. His acting credits include roles in the dramas Befriend (2018) and Triad Princess (2019), as well as Love of Replica (2023).
