Tony Visconti is an American record producer who produced David Bowie's final album, Blackstar (2016). He began his career in the late 1960s and gained prominence with his work on T. Rex's hit single "Ride a White Swan" in 1970. Throughout his career, Visconti has collaborated with numerous artists, including Marc Bolan and Angelique Kidjo. His production work on Bowie's albums spanned several decades, earning him critical acclaim and multiple awards. Visconti won a Grammy Award for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical for Blackstar. He also produced Kidjo's Djin Djin, which won the Grammy for Best Contemporary World Music Album.
