Tom Ohmer is an American actor who made his film debut in Breaking Away (1979). He began his career in Hollywood after moving from Chicago in 1981, where he had previously modeled and acted in commercials. Ohmer gained early recognition for his role as Joan Collins' chauffeur in the television series Dynasty. He also served in the Los Angeles Police Department, where he utilized his acting skills in training films. After leaving the LAPD, he continued acting part-time, often portraying police officers in various productions. In 2023, he appeared in the film Nefarious. Ohmer was awarded Reserve Officer of the Year in 2003 and 2005.
