Tom McGrath is an American voice actor and animator who co-directed the animated feature Madagascar (2005) and its sequel Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (2008). He voiced the character Skipper, the leader of the penguins, in both films and the spin-off series The Penguins of Madagascar. McGrath also directed the DreamWorks film Megamind (2010), featuring a star-studded cast including Will Ferrell and Brad Pitt. His animation career includes work on films like Flushed Away (2006) and Shrek the Third (2007), as well as the series The Ren and Stimpy Show. He directed The Boss Baby: Family Business (2021) and has been influential in shaping animated storytelling at DreamWorks.
