Tom Junod is an American journalist and a senior writer at ESPN since 2016. He produced the Emmy-nominated piece 'The Hero of Goodall Park' and the investigative report 'Untold.' A two-time National Magazine Award winner, Junod authored stories for 'Esquire,' including 'The Falling Man' and 'Can You Say…Hero?,' which inspired the film 'A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood' (2019). He has received a James Beard Award and frequent recognition in 'The Best American' anthologies. Junod is currently working on a memoir for Doubleday.
