Thiago Lacerda is a Brazilian actor who debuted on television in the teen series Malhação (1997). His breakthrough came with the miniseries Hilda Furacão (1998), which garnered him a two-year contract with Rede Globo and the Revelation Actor award. Lacerda portrayed an Italian immigrant in search of a better life in Brazil in the lead role of Terra Nostra (1999). He also appeared in Forever and Ever (2014).
