Steve Miner is the only director to have helmed multiple films in the Friday the 13th franchise. He began his career as an associate producer on the original Friday the 13th in 1980 before directing its sequels, Friday the 13th Part 2 and Friday the 13th Part III. Miner has also directed notable television series such as Dawson's Creek, The Wonder Years, and Felicity. His filmography includes the horror comedy House (1986) and the slasher sequel Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998). In addition, he directed Lake Placid (1999) and the 2008 remake of Day of the Dead.
