Sho Kosugi is a Japanese martial artist and actor who played a ninja in various films during the 1980s. He gained prominence in the film industry through his martial arts skills, particularly in shindō jinen-ryū karate. Kosugi's notable works include Ninja Assassin (2009), Black Eagle (1988), Revenge of the Ninja (1983), and Kabuto (also known as Shogun Warrior) (1980). He is the father of actors Kane Kosugi and Shane Kosugi, who often appear alongside him in films that feature family dynamics. In addition to his acting career, Kosugi founded a taiko group in California and operates the Sho Kosugi Institute, which offers martial arts acting training internationally.
