Shawn Pomrenke is a mining innovator who starred in Bering Sea Gold (2012). Growing up in Nome, he worked with his father, Steve, to establish the Pomrenke name in the mining industry. Shawn has led efforts that resulted in the recovery of thousands of ounces from the Bering Sea. He is currently focused on developing a mega-dredge, an ambitious project aimed at transforming mining operations in Nome and securing the future of his family's business.
