Shane Gillis is an American stand-up comedian and actor who co-hosts the highly subscribed podcast Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast. He began his comedy career in 2012 and gained significant attention in 2019 when he was named one of the 'New Faces' at the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal. Gillis briefly joined the cast of NBC's Saturday Night Live but was let go after five days due to controversy surrounding past remarks. He launched the online sketch series Gilly & Keeves in 2020 and released his first comedy special, Shane Gillis: Live in Austin, in 2021. His second special, Shane Gillis: Beautiful Dogs, premiered on Netflix in 2023. Gillis co-created and stars in the Netflix series Tires, which debuted in May 2024.
