Shaan Sharma is a SAG-AFTRA actor and casting session director who has worked on over 400 projects in Los Angeles. He began his acting career in Minnesota, where he completed more than one hundred on-camera projects and appeared in four national commercials before moving to Los Angeles in 2007. In addition to acting, he co-founded the Shaan Sharma On-Camera Acting Studio and serves as a private coach, while also contributing as a writer for Backstage with over 50 published articles. His book, "Commercial Acting in L.A.: A Session Director’s Guide," is available online. Shaan serves as lead educator for SAG-AFTRA Los Angeles Member Education and is a member of the SAG-AFTRA Los Angeles Conservatory Committee.
