Sean Biggerstaff is a Scottish actor who portrayed Oliver Wood in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001). He began his acting journey in a local drama group, where he played Augustus Gloop in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Biggerstaff gained significant recognition after being cast as Tom in The Winter Guest (1997) by Alan Rickman. His early career also included six years with the Scottish Youth Theatre, which helped shape his acting skills. In addition to his role in the Harry Potter franchise, he has appeared in various other projects throughout his career.
