Sandy Martin is an actress who played Grandma in Napoleon Dynamite (2004). She began her acting journey at 15, touring with Martha Raye in Good-bye Charley, and later became a prominent figure in New York City's theater scene, participating in over 70 productions at venues like Lincoln Center and La Mama. Martin transitioned to film production, serving as Associate Producer on notable projects such as Milagro Bean Field Wars and Selena. She also had a recurring role on HBO's Big Love as Selma Green and appeared in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia as Mac's Mom. Martin's performance in A House Not Meant To Stand earned her a nomination for an Ovation Award in 2011.
