Roscoe Orman is an American actor who made his feature film debut in the title role of Willie Dynamite (1974). He has a rich background in theater, having been a founding member of Harlem's New Lafayette Theatre and performed in productions such as August Wilson's Fences and Julius Caesar at the Public Theater. Orman has credits including All My Children, The Wire, and Law & Order. He gained significant recognition for his role as Gordon in Sesame Street, which began in 1969.
