Rita Zohar is an actress who won the Israeli Film Academy’s Best Actress award for her performance in Laura Adler’s Last Love Affair (1990). She began her career in the 1950s at the Cameri Theatre in Israel, performing in Yiddish before moving to the United States in the 1980s. Zohar has appeared in various television series such as Quincy M.E., St. Elsewhere, and Cagney & Lacey, and her film credits include Daniel (1983), Amadeus (1984), and The Deliberate Stranger (1986). She also featured in Waterworld (1995) and later roles include Mrs. Moskowitz and the Cats (2009).
