Rick Overton is a comedian and actor who made his film debut in the 1984 movie 'The Best Defense'. He began his stand-up career in high school as part of the duo 'Overton & Sullivan' before pursuing solo performances at the New York Improvisation in the early 1970s. Overton has appeared in various films and television shows, including 'Groundhog Day' (1993), 'The Secret of My Success' (1987), and 'The King of Queens' (1998-2007). His background in music comes from a family of musicians, with his father being a notable arranger for Thelonious Monk. Overton occasionally plays harmonica with local blues bands.
