Richard Nixon is a former U.S. president who served as the 37th president from 1969 to 1974. Before his presidency, he was the 36th vice president from 1953 to 1961 and gained national attention as a representative and senator from California. His administration included significant events such as the end of U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War and the establishment of the Environmental Protection Agency. Nixon made an appearance in the film Apollo 13: Survival (2024). He is the only president to have resigned from office due to the Watergate scandal.
