Raymond Thiry is a Dutch actor who began his career in theatre in 1987 with his own group, Alex d'Electrique, which gained recognition in festivals across the Netherlands and Germany. He gained significant attention for his role in the 2006 film 'Langer Licht' by David Lammers, earning a Golden Calf nomination at the Dutch Film Festival. Thiry won the same award in 2009 for his performance in 'Oorlogswinter' (Winter in Wartime), directed by Martin Koolhoven, which was a major box office hit. His subsequent work includes notable performances in the crime series 'Penoza', as well as the films 'Sonny Boy' and 'Lotus'. In 2012, he starred in 'Black Out' and 'Toegetakeld door de liefde'.
