Raka
Director
Raka is an Indian film director and choreographer who made his directorial debut with Happy Hardy and Heer in 2020. He began his career as a background dancer before becoming an assistant choreographer for Bosco and Ahmed Khan. In 2007, he worked as the main assistant choreographer on Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love. By 2012, Raka transitioned to independent choreography, with work on Bollywood films such as Karle Pyaar Karle, Nil Battey Sannata, and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. His choreography in Shubh Mangal Saavdhan led to his directorial opportunity for Happy Hardy and Heer, which featured Himesh Reshammiya and Sonia Mann. The film was released to mostly positive reviews from critics.
