Owen Kline is an American director, screenwriter, and actor who directed the feature film Funny Pages. His acting career includes a role in Noah Baumbach's The Squid and the Whale (2005) and appearances in the Safdie brothers' John’s Gone, as well as Michael M. Bilandic's comedies Hellaware and Jobe’z World. Kline's short film Jazzy for Joe featured the late Joe Franklin in a unique comedic role alongside a toddler, while his earlier short, Fowl Play, was presented on Le Cinéma Club in 2017.
