Osman Sonant is a Turkish actor who began his career at Bahçelievler Municipal Theatre in 1997. He trained under Yılmaz Gruda and later joined Ortaoyuncular Nöbetçi Theatre in 1998, eventually graduating from Istanbul University State Conservatory with a degree in stage arts. His notable performances include receiving the Best Supporting Actor award at the 16th Golden Boll Film Festival in 2009 for his role in Pandora'nın Kutusu and portraying Yavuz in the surreal comedy series Leyla ile Mecnun since 2011. He also starred in Onur Ünlü's Beş Kardeş in 2015 and appeared in the Netflix docudrama Rise of Empires: Ottoman. Sonant featured in Bihter: A Forbidden Passion in 2023.
