Nicolette Krebitz is a German actress and director who realized her own film, JEANS, in 1999. She began her career in front of the camera in 1982 and has since worked in various cinema and television productions. Krebitz studied classical dance at Berlin’s Ballett Centrum and earned her acting diploma from the Fritz Kirchhoff Drama School in 1992. Her notable works include A Stork's Journey (2017) and she was awarded the Berlin Art Prize in the Film and Media Art category in 2019.
