Nana Visitor is an American actress who portrayed Kira Nerys in the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. She has also played Jean Ritter in the series Wildfire. Visitor's career includes a role in the film Friday the 13th (2009). Born as Nana Tucker, she is related to actress and dancer Cyd Charisse. In 1996, her pregnancy with co-star Alexander Siddig was written into the storyline of Deep Space Nine, culminating in her character's pregnancy arc. Visitor and Siddig married in 1997 and divorced in 2001. She later married Matthew Rimmer in 2003.
